Instructions

Content Overview

  • Provide a brief rundown of your content.

  • List your microphone and any other audio equipment it runs through (e.g., audio interface/mixer for XLR mics).

Audio Recording Instructions

  • Record a 60 second clip of yourself speaking naturally, as if you were streaming.
  • No filters should be applied to your voice.
  • If your content involves volume fluctuations, include:
    • A section where you get loud (e.g., startled or shouting).
    • A section where you speak softly or at a distance.
    • 5 seconds of silence for background noise analysis.

File Format & Recording Software

  • If using Audacity (or similar), save your file as a .wav.
  • If using OBS, ensure:
    • No filters are applied to your mic.
    • All other audio sources are turned off.
    • Save as either .mkv or .mp4.
